# Service availability

Check service status and understand what the results mean.

Open the [DEV status page](https://dev-status.arcpay.space/) to see current checks and their history. Choose English or Русский on the page.

This page covers our test environment. Production monitoring at `https://status.arcpay.space/` is being prepared and is not yet available. The Arc Pay operations team maintains the status page, checks and incident information.

## What we check

| Component | Check |
| --------------- | -------------------------------------- |
| API | Responds to a basic availability check |
| Payment page | The payment page loads |
| Merchant portal | The login page loads |
| Card form | The card form loads |

Checks run every minute and wait up to 10 seconds for a response. They do not create payments. A successful check does not confirm that sign-in, payments, banks, settlement or webhooks work. The API check does not cover every connected service or database.

## Reading the results

The page shows operational (`UP`), partially unavailable (`DEGRADED`), unavailable (`DOWN`), maintenance (`MAINTENANCE`) or unknown (`NO_DATA`). These are separate from [payment statuses](/arc-pay/reference/status.md).

The open page refreshes every 30 seconds. Results older than three minutes become unknown. Reopening the page does not make an old result current.

The timeline shows 90 days. Days before monitoring began and gaps in checks remain unknown. Uptime is the share of successful recorded checks; it is not an SLA or a guarantee of uninterrupted service. If there are no checks, uptime is unavailable.

## If the status page is unavailable

Service availability is unknown. A status-page outage alone does not tell you whether payments are working. Contact your usual support channel and check the payment's actual status. For pending or timed-out payments, follow the [payment lifecycle guidance](/arc-pay/concepts/payment-lifecycle.md). Do not retry a payment just because the status page is unavailable.

The DEV page shares infrastructure with the services it checks. It cannot independently confirm availability from every network or during a wider infrastructure outage. Production activation requires separate approval and verification.
